Ingredients
- 3/4 c. Crisco
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs (unbeaten)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
Method
- Combine Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
- Beat well.
- Add flour gradually.
- Mix well.
- Roll 1/2-inch thick and cut desired shape.
- Place on cookie sheet (ungreased).
- Bake at 375° for about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Makes about 6 dozen tea cakes.
