Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • garlic salt
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 6 bay leaves
  • 1 pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 pt. cottage cheese
  • 2 raw eggs
  • Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Brown ground beef, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, salt and pepper together.
  • Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, tomatoes, oregano and bay leaves.
  • Simmer, covered, at least 2 hours or until cooked down.
  • Stir often.
  • Boil 1 package of lasagna noodles; blanch and drain.
  • Grease a large 9 x 13-inch casserole.
