Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground round
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 (10.5 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 tsp. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. American cheese
  • 1 large (32 oz.) bag Tater Tots

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Brown ground beef and drain. Add salt and pepper. Add mushroom soup and dry onion soup. Spread mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Lay American cheese slices over the top. Cover the top with Tater Tots. Bake at 350° until food thermometer reads 165°, about 20 minutes.
