Ingredients

  • 8 whole 4 Ounce Chicken Drumsticks, Skin Removed
  • 1 cup Nonfat Plain Yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Grated Ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Onion, Finely Grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic. Pressed And Finely Minced
  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Garam Masala
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper

Method

  • In a large bowl, combine the yogurt with the ginger, onion, garlic, lemon juice, dry mustard, garam masala, salt, and pepper.
  • Use a small, sharp knife and make shallow 1-inch slashes in the chicken.
  • Add the chicken to the marinade and turn to coat.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  • Preheat grill.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade, leaving a thin layer of marinade on the legs.
  • Grill the chicken over medium heat, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through, 20-30 minutes.
