Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 can pitted olives
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 lb. ground pork
  • 1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 1 (16 to 18 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 large (20 oz.) can solid pack tomatoes
  • 1 large onion

Method

  • Cook
  • milk and cornmeal together in heavy bottomed pan. (Mixture will
  • be
  • very thick.) Add corn, tomatoes, olives and chili powder.
  • Brown pork
  • and
  • onions,
  • then
  • add to mixture. Bake in large greased casserole
  • dish
  • for
  • 1 hour at 350° (or put in smaller casserole
  • dishes
  • and
  • freeze
  • for later use). Serves six to ten.
