Ingredients
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- good pinch of cream of tartar
- 1 lump of butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cook in iron skillet without stirring until it rattles hard in cold water.
- Turn into a large buttered platter and turn in edge as it cools.
- When cool, pull.
