Ingredients

  • 1 (1-pound) loaf frozen white bread dough, thawed
  • Cooking spray
  • 1/2 pound ground turkey
  • 1 (1-ounce) package taco seasoning
  • 1 cup bottled salsa
  • 1 (2 1/4-ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped iceberg lettuce
  • 6 tablespoons fat-free sour cream

Method

  • Preheat oven to 450°.
  • Roll bread dough into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface. Place the dough on a 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Crimp edges of dough with fingers to form a rim. Set aside.
  • Cook ground turkey in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned, and stir to crumble. Stir in 1 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning, and reserve remaining seasoning for another use. Spread the turkey mixture over dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Spread salsa over turkey mixture, and sprinkle with olives and cheese. Bake at 450° for 20 minutes or until cheese melts. Top with lettuce. Let stand 5 minutes. Top each slice with sour cream.
