Ingredients
- 1 round steak
- 1 can tomato soup
- garlic powder
- 2 c. tomato juice
- 1 medium chopped onion
- flour
Method
- Cut
- round steak in serving size pieces.
- Sprinkle both sides of steak with garlic salt and flour.
- Pound flour into meat
- with meat
- hammer
- or with sharp knife.
- Fry in hot fat until brown on both sides.
- Put meat into baking dish.
- In the pan you
- fried the meat, add 1 can tomato soup, 2 cups tomato juice
- and
- onion; cook until all the drippings of the pan are in the gravy.
- Pour gravy over the meat and bake at 350° for 1 hour, reduce to 325° and bake until tender.
- Serves 6.
