Ingredients
- 12 graham crackers
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nut meats
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 c. sugar
- pinch of salt
Method
- Crush the graham crackers.
- Beat egg yolks; add 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla and nuts. Add to crumbs.
- Beat egg whites; add salt and 1/2 cup sugar. Fold into yolk mixture.
- Butter a pie plate well.
- Pour in batter. Cook at 325° until golden.
- Do not overcook.
