Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut broccoli
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. flour

Method

  • In saucepan, heat bouillon in 1 1/2 cups water until dissolved.
  • Add broccoli, cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender.
  • Add milk, cheese, nutmeg and a dash of pepper. Cook and stir until cheese melts.
  • Combine flour and 1/2 cold water; stir into broccoli mixture.
  • Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  • Makes 4 to 6 servings.
