- 1 1/2 lb. boneless pork, cubed
- 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed firm
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- bell pepper, diced
- maraschino cherries
Method
- In a large skillet, brown pork.
- Mix together water, sugar, vinegar, cornstarch, soy sauce and salt.
- Add to pork, then add bell pepper and cherries and let simmer for 25 minutes.
- Serve over rice.
