Ingredients
- 4 (8 to 10 oz.) New York strip steaks
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed and chopped
- 1 tsp. green peppercorns
- 1/2 c. dry white wine
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
- salt and pepper
Method
- Preheat barbecue on high.
- Mix all ingredients (except steaks) in a deep plate.
- Place steaks in plate and marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Place steaks on hot grill and cook 8 to 10 minutes depending on taste.
- Turn at least 3 times, baste and season.
