Ingredients

  • 2 (1 lb. each) cans sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes

Method

  • Mash sweet potatoes.
  • Be sure to get all lumps out.
  • Add 1/2 stick oleo, nutmeg, sugar, milk, cinnamon and eggs.
  • Mix.
  • Pour into a greased baking pan.
  • Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until firm.
  • Melt 1/2 stick oleo.
  • Add brown sugar, nuts and corn flakes.
  • Mix.
  • Spread on sweet potatoes and bake for about 15 minutes.
