Ingredients
- 12 ounces chili sauce (I use Heinz.)
- 20 ounces crushed pineapple with juice, undrained
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 bell peppers, cut into bite size pieces (I use yellow or red and green, to make it colorful)
- 1 lb smoked sausage or 1 lb kielbasa, cut into bite size pieces
- 5 -10 drops liquid smoke (I use it if I think my smoked sausage isn't smokey enough.) (optional)
Method
- Mix the chili sauce, canned crushed pineapple with juice, and the brown sugar together in a large casserole dish (I use the stoneware from my crockpot).
- Add the bell pepper pieces and smoked sausage.
- Mix everything together.
- Bake uncovered at 350 for one hour, stirring occasionally.
- Enjoy!
