Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. lean pork, cut into bite size pieces
- 2 1/2 c. pineapple chunks
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. green peppers, sliced
- 1/4 c. onion, thinly sliced
Method
- Brown pork.
- Add 1/2 cup water.
- Cover and simmer about 1 hour.
- Combine sugar, cornstarch, pineapple juice, vinegar, soy sauce and salt.
- Stir until thick.
- Add pineapple chunks, pepper and onion.
- Cook 3 minutes more and serve.
