Ingredients
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
Method
- Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
- Beat egg yolks and add milk and butter.
- Beat into flour mixture.
- Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Pour 3 tablespoons butter onto hot griddle for each cake and bake until top is bubbly and edges look cooked.
- Turn and cook until remaining side is brown.
