Ingredients
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) noodles Romanoff
Method
- Soak
- bread crumbs in milk.
- Mix in ground beef, onion, egg and seasonings.
- Shape mixture into 1 to 1 1/2-inch balls. Melt butter
- in large skillet, add meatballs and brown on all sides. Cover; simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
