Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 c. or possibly 2 sticks butter
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 1 c. strawberry yogurt
  • 1 c. sugar or possibly 1/2 c. sugar & 1/2 c. sugar substitute equivalent, suitable for baking
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 c. warm water

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan.
  • Dissolve yeast in 1/4 c. of warm water and set aside.
  • Sift flour and soda together and set aside.
  • Cream butter and sugar together and beat till fluffy.
  • Beat in the Large eggs, one at a time.
  • Add in yeast mix; mix well.
  • With a spoon, stir in the flour mix alternately with yogurt.
  • Add in vanilla.
  • Stir just till blended.
  • Pour into the tube pan and bake for 1 hour or possibly till done.
