Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 c. or possibly 2 sticks butter
- 4 Large eggs
- 1 c. strawberry yogurt
- 1 c. sugar or possibly 1/2 c. sugar & 1/2 c. sugar substitute equivalent, suitable for baking
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
Method
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan.
- Dissolve yeast in 1/4 c. of warm water and set aside.
- Sift flour and soda together and set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar together and beat till fluffy.
- Beat in the Large eggs, one at a time.
- Add in yeast mix; mix well.
- With a spoon, stir in the flour mix alternately with yogurt.
- Add in vanilla.
- Stir just till blended.
- Pour into the tube pan and bake for 1 hour or possibly till done.
