Ingredients

  • 1 box frozen chopped chicken or 1 lb. chicken, chopped and cooked
  • 1 bag frozen broccoli
  • 1 jar mushrooms
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can bean sprouts
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1 pkg. stir-fry seasoning
  • soy sauce to taste
  • 3 c. cooked white rice

Method

  • Heat 1 tablespoon cooking oil (any variety) in large frying pan.
  • Add onion and cook until clear.
  • Add chicken and cook until thawed.
  • Add broccoli and mushrooms and cook about 5 minutes until heated through.
  • Add bean sprouts and water chestnuts.
  • Mix stir-fry seasoning according to package directions and pour over stir-fry.
  • Add soy sauce to taste.
  • Be careful not to cook too long, bean sprouts will become soggy.
  • Serve immediately over hot cooked rice.
