Ingredients
- 1 easy pastry dough disc
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1 1/4 cups of evaporated milk
- 1 cup of whole milk
- 1 stick of butter
- cinnamon (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Roll out dough on floured surface to 12-inch round. Transfer to 9-inch pie dish. Fold under edge then crimp. Pierce crust all over with fork.
- Bake crust until it's golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes. Cool on rack about 10 minutes.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a sauce pan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. Pour into baked pastry, sprinkle with cinnamon, cool and serve.
