Ingredients
- 1 lb. box large shells
- 3 lb. potatoes
- 1 lb. Longhorn cheese
- 1/4 lb. American cheese
- 6 large onions
- 3 sticks butter
Method
- Peel potatoes; cube and cook.
- Drain potatoes.
- Cube cheese and add to potatoes.
- Mix through.
- Put lid on pan and let set for 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
- Mash with hand masher.
- Cook shells according to directions on box.
- Drain.
- Cool and stuff with potatoes and cheese mixture.
- Saute sliced onions in butter. Layer shells in pan and top with butter and onions.
- Slow heat to warm all ingredients.
