Ingredients
- 1 or 2 green peppers per person
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 1/3 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. Minute rice
- salt and pepper
- grated cheese
Method
- Cut top out of peppers and hollow-out inside pulp.
- Brown hamburger and onion.
- Cook rice as directed on box.
- Mix hamburger with rice; add shortening, catsup, salt and pepper to taste.
- Fill peppers and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Top with cheese.
