- 1 lb. freshly ground pork sausage
- 1/4 c. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp. lemon pepper
- 20 to 25 large mushrooms (about 2-inches in diameter)
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
Method
- Mix together first 4 ingredients.
- Rounding tops, stuff mixture into washed and stemmed mushroom caps.
- Place in an 8 x 11-inch shallow baking dish.
- Add wine to cover bottom.
- Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Garnish mushrooms with fresh parsley and serve.
