- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 30 oz. Italian tomato sauce
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 15 oz. Ricotta cheese
- 3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 12 manicotti noodles, cooked, rinsed and drained
- Parmesan cheese
Method
- In a large saucepan, brown sausage and drain. Remove half and set aside. Stir tomato sauce, paste, water and brown sugar into sausage in saucepan. Simmer 15 minutes.
