Ingredients
- 3 big green peppers
- 1 lb. sausage or hamburger
- 1 c. white rice
- oregano to taste
- 1 can whole tomatoes (can use spaghetti sauce for substitute)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Cut peppers into 2 halves.
- Clean insides and rinse.
- Boil rice until it's done.
- Brown meat; add spices to meat (or spaghetti sauce).
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Mix rice with meat; stuff meat and rice into shell.
- Place stuffed shells in baking dishes.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Take out of oven.
- Add cheese on top. Place in oven until melted.
