Ingredients

  • 3 big green peppers
  • 1 lb. sausage or hamburger
  • 1 c. white rice
  • oregano to taste
  • 1 can whole tomatoes (can use spaghetti sauce for substitute)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Cut peppers into 2 halves.
  • Clean insides and rinse.
  • Boil rice until it's done.
  • Brown meat; add spices to meat (or spaghetti sauce).
  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Mix rice with meat; stuff meat and rice into shell.
  • Place stuffed shells in baking dishes.
  • Bake for 1 hour.
  • Take out of oven.
  • Add cheese on top. Place in oven until melted.
