Ingredients

  • 6 medium green bell peppers
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 c. Minute rice
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck

Method

  • Cut tops from peppers.
  • Remove seed and membrane.
  • Combine salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, rice, egg, 3/4 cup soup, onion and ground beef in bowl; stir lightly.
  • Pack each pepper with approximately 1/2 cup mixture.
  • Place filled peppers in round microwave casserole; peppers should fit tightly in casserole. Pour remaining soup over filled peppers.
  • Cover with plastic wrap.
  • Microwave on High for 15 to 18 minutes.
