- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small bunch shallots, minced with tops
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 lb. crab meat
- 2 c. moistened French bread
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 to 2 eggs
- salt and pepper to taste
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- buttered bread crumbs
Method
- Saute celery, onion, pepper and garlic in butter.
- Add moistened bread, crab meat, parsley and egg.
- Add seasonings. Fill aluminum crab shells.
- Sprinkle tops with crumbs.
- Bake at 350° until lightly browned, approximately 15 minutes.
