Ingredients
- 1 strawberry cake mix
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. red food coloring
- 2 pt. strawberries
- 1 (10 oz.) bottle 7-Up
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 (16 oz.) bowl Cool Whip
Method
- Prepare cake according to directions.
- Bake in two 9-inch pans for 30 minutes at 350°.
- Cool and split cakes into halves.
- Cook 7-Up, cornstarch, sugar and food coloring until thick, like pudding.
- Slice strawberries and pour mixture over berries; cool. Put Cool Whip and mixture over cake.
