Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage, shredded
- 2 onions, grated
- 2 carrots, grated
- 34 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 2 teaspoons celery seeds
- 12 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup oil (I use Mazola)
Method
- Mix together salad ingredients.
- Sprinkle with sugar and let stand while making the dressing.
- Bring dressing ingredients (except oil), to a boil.
- Add oil and boil for 30 seconds.
- Pour over cabbage mixture while still hot.
- Stir well and refrigerate.
- Keeps for 14 days.
