Ingredients
- 1 lb. vanilla wafers, crushed
- 4 eggs
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 c. whipped cream
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
Method
- Place 2/3 of the box of crushed wafers in large baking dish. Cook eggs, butter and powdered sugar to thick cream consistency. Cook to 200° in double boiler.
- Pour over wafers and cool.
- Spread 1 cup whipped cream over mixture; next, spread 1/2 cup pecans. Next add both packages of strawberries, next 1 cup of whipped cream.
- Top with remaining wafers and pecans.
- Freezes beautifully.
