Ingredients

  • 4 or more c. sliced strawberries (1 qt.)
  • vanilla wafers
  • 1 stick margarine, softened
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 box confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip

Method

  • Line a medium-size dish (9 x 13-inch) with vanilla wafers. Beat together the margarine, cream cheese, confectioners sugar and vanilla.
  • Spread creamed mixture over wafers.
  • Cover with a layer of berries.
  • Top with Cool Whip and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Best to make and serve the same day.
