Ingredients

  • 1 round angel food cake
  • 3/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 small pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1 small carton frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1 small container Cool Whip

Method

  • Spray jello ring or Bundt pan with Pam.
  • Punch holes in cake with ice pick or kitchen fork.
  • Dissolve jello with boiling water in small bowl.
  • Add 1/2 thawed strawberries.
  • Pour into jello ring (or Bundt pan).
  • Push whole cake down in ring over liquid and strawberries.
  • Put in freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream and remaining strawberries.
