Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground meat
- 1 c. diced potatoes
- 1 c. diced carrots
- 1 c. diced onions
- 1 c. diced celery
- 4 c. cooked tomatoes
- 1/2 c. raw rice (optional)
- 4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Method
- Brown beef lightly, drain.
- Combine all ingredients and simmer, covered, 1 hour.
- (I usually add a little sugar and cook longer than 1 hour.)
