Ingredients

  • 1 salmon fillet, 4-6 oz
  • 1 cup broccoli floret
  • 14 sweet potato, peeled and cut into matchstick-size pieces
  • 12 beet, peeled and cut into matchstick-size pieces
  • 5 mushrooms, cut in half

Method

  • Lightly oil a steamer basket.
  • Set the basket in a large saucepan with water just lower than the basket.
  • Add salmon and surround with broccoli, sweet potato, beet and mushrooms.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place over high heat, cover, and steam for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.
