- 1 lb round steak
- 12 cup soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove
- 12 teaspoon ground ginger
- 14 cup oil
- 1 cup diced onion
- 12 cup green pepper
- 12 cup red pepper
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup mushroom
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup water
Method
- Slice steak in thin stipes.
- Combine steak, soy sauce, garlic and ginger and marinade for at least 30 minutes.
- In a large skillet, add soy sauce mixute and cook until the meat is brown.
- Stir in veggies and cook for 5 mins stirring constantly until veggies are crisp.
- Remove meat and veggies and set aside.
- Combine cornstarch and and water until corn startch disolves.
- Add liquid to skillet and cook until smooth and thickened.
- Return the meat and veggies to the skillet to coat in the sauce.
- Serve over white rice.
