Ingredients

  • 1 lb round steak
  • 12 cup soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 12 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 14 cup oil
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 12 cup green pepper
  • 12 cup red pepper
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup mushroom
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup water

Method

  • Slice steak in thin stipes.
  • Combine steak, soy sauce, garlic and ginger and marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a large skillet, add soy sauce mixute and cook until the meat is brown.
  • Stir in veggies and cook for 5 mins stirring constantly until veggies are crisp.
  • Remove meat and veggies and set aside.
  • Combine cornstarch and and water until corn startch disolves.
  • Add liquid to skillet and cook until smooth and thickened.
  • Return the meat and veggies to the skillet to coat in the sauce.
  • Serve over white rice.
