Ingredients
- 8 c. squash, shredded
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 4 bell peppers, diced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 hot pepper, chopped
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
Method
- Combine squash, onion and pepper.
- Sprinkle with salt and let stand 1 hour.
- Bring to a boil sugar, vinegar, celery and mustard seed.
- Add squash, onions and peppers; boil 1 minute.
- Put in sterilized jars.
