Ingredients
- 1 lb. frozen sliced yellow squash (can use fresh)
- 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 stick margarine
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. milk
- 8 crackers, crushed
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Boil squash until tender; drain and mash.
- Add cheese, butter, egg, milk and crackers.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Put grated cheese on top.
- Bake in shallow casserole dish at 350° until set and brown (about 45 minutes).
