Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans in tomato sauce
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
- 1/2 c. water
Method
- In a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef, onion, garlic and chili powder until beef is browned and onion is tender, stirring to separate meat.
- Spoon off fat.
- Stir in beans, soup, chilies and water.
- Heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Makes 4 servings.
