Ingredients
- 3 or 4 lb. spareribs
- onions (optional)
- 2 tsp. vinegar
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 3/4 c. catsup
- 3/4 c. water
Method
- Select meaty spareribs.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place in roaster and cover with onions.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
- Cover and bake in moderate (350°) oven for about 1 1/2 hours.
- Baste occasionally, turning ribs once or twice.
- Remove cover the last 15 minutes to brown ribs.
- Serves 6.
