- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 8-oz. can mushrooms
- 1 or 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 cup olive oil or salad oil
- 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1/2 pound Mozzarella or Jack cheese or Longhorn Cheddar
Method
- Combine in large skillet beef, chopped onions, mushrooms, garlic, oregano and oil.
- Brown and add salt and pepper. Place spinach on top and steam until mixable.
- Mix the partially cooked ingredients in a medium casserole plus the soup and sour cream. Garnish with cheese. Bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.
