Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 8-oz. can mushrooms
  • 1 or 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 cup olive oil or salad oil
  • 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1/2 pound Mozzarella or Jack cheese or Longhorn Cheddar

Method

  • Combine in large skillet beef, chopped onions, mushrooms, garlic, oregano and oil.
  • Brown and add salt and pepper. Place spinach on top and steam until mixable.
  • Mix the partially cooked ingredients in a medium casserole plus the soup and sour cream. Garnish with cheese. Bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.
