Ingredients

  • 1 box macaroni (elbow or shell)
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium can whole tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. Fritos corn chips
  • 1 small pkg. Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Take 1 (9-inch) skillet or medium saucepan.
  • Prepare ground beef with at least 1 cup water (keeps from burning; also soft) with chopped onions.
  • Add chopped tomatoes.
  • Cook slowly until brown.
  • Add chili powder and salt.
  • If needed, add more water for macaroni.
  • When macaroni is done, top with corn chips and cheese. One pan, one clean up.
