Ingredients

  • 1 (7 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Cook spaghetti.
  • Drain.
  • Add butter, cheese and eggs to hot spaghetti.
  • Form mixture into "crust" in 10-inch pie plate. Spread cottage cheese over crust.
  • Brown ground beef with onion in skillet and drain fat.
  • Stir in spaghetti sauce.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Spread sauce over cottage cheese.
  • Bake uncovered at 350° for 20 minutes.
  • Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Return to oven for 5 minutes.
  • Yields 6 servings.
