Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust, pre-baked 10 minutes
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 bottle taco sauce (8 oz.)
  • 1 can refried beans (16 oz.)
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 head lettuce, shredded
  • 2 tomatoes, diced

Method

  • In skillet, brown meat and onions, drain.
  • Add taco seasoning. Set aside.
  • In bowl, mix refried beans with 4 ounces taco sauce. Put meat mixture in pie crust.
  • Top with refried bean mixture. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  • Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
  • Serve hot.
  • Top with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes.
  • Use additional taco sauce, if desired.
