Ingredients
- 4 large sweet potatoes, cooked
- salt
- brown sugar
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 4 large apples, unpared
- water
Method
- Peel potatoes
- and cut into thin slices.
- Place half of the slices
- into
- the
- bottom
- of
- a buttered casserole dish. Cover with sausage, shaped into 4 patties.
- Add thickly sliced apples and
- sprinkle
- with salt.
- Cover with remaining potato slices
- and brush
- with water.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake 1 hour at 350°.
- Serves 4.
