Ingredients
- 1 (9-inch) pie crust (frozen)
- 1 c. pecans
- 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, well beaten
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Mix sugar, butter and syrup.
- Beat eggs and add to sugar mixture.
- Add pecans and stir well.
- Pour in frozen pie crust.
- Do not allow pie crust to thaw.
- Place in oven at 400° for 10 minutes.
- Then lower oven to 350° and bake for 30 to 35 minutes longer.
