Ingredients
- 6 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. oil
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 c. warm buttermilk
- 2 tsp. salt
Method
- Mix yeast in
- warm
- water
- and set aside.
- Mix all dry ingredients in large
- bowl.
- Make
- well and
- pour
- in oil, buttermilk and
- yeast mixture.
- Beat by hand.
- Mixture will be sticky.
- Grease lightly and set in refrigerator for at least 3 to 4 hours.
- Bake as needed.
- Will keep for 3 to 4 days.
- Make into balls or rolls and grease top.
- Turn over in pan and bake at 400° for 35 minutes.
