Ingredients
- 2 1/2 sticks butter
- 6 large eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2 Tbsp. cinnamon, 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 c. nuts, mixed
Method
- Cream the butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each egg. Cream well. Add the flour, one cup at a time. Beat well after each cup. Fold in the sour cream.
- Grease and flour a tube pan.
- Pour half of the batter in pan. Sprinkle chopped walnuts and sugar mixture over batter.
- Pour remaining batter in pan. Top with rest of nut mixture.
- Bake in a 325° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
