Ingredients

  • 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. cooking oil

Method

  • Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl.
  • Combine egg, sour cream and cooking oil.
  • Make a well in center of dry ingredients, add liquid ingredients all at once.
  • Mix only until all ingredients are moist.
  • Fill well greased muffin cups 2/3 full and bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
