Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Method

  • Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add eggs.
  • Fold in sour cream and vanilla.
  • Mix well and add flour, baking powder and salt. Combine remaining sugar, cinnamon and nuts in bowl.
  • Place 1/3 of batter in greased tube pan.
  • Sprinkle top with 3/4 of nut mixture. Spoon on remaining batter and top with remaining nut mixture.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
  • Cool on rack.
