Ingredients
- 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 3/4 c. salad oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
Method
- Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan.
- Combine brown sugar, cinnamon and 1/2 cup of pecans in a small bowl.
- Set aside. Combine cake mix, salad oil, sugar, vanilla, eggs and sour cream. Beat two minutes at medium speed.
- Stir in 1/2 cup pecans.
- Pour half of batter into prepared pan.
- Sprinkle with half of brown sugar mixture.
- Pour remaining batter in pan and sprinkle with remaining brown sugar mixture.
- Bake at 325° for 50 to 60 minutes.
